The Shiloh Community Garden

The Shiloh Community Association is a non-profit 501-c3 organization. An important goal for the Association is to establish a youth and community garden at the site it owns adjacent to the Shiloh Community Center. The garden started to take shape in summer 2005, with the grading of the site, installation of an arbor and a variety of fruit trees. Preparation of garden beds is planned for spring 2006. When completed, the site will include a youth vegetable garden, a community vegetable garden, an outdoor eating area, all flanked by fruit trees and shrubs. The kick off of the youth garden is planned for April 2006.

To get involved, attend the Shiloh Community Association meeting on the first Monday of every month, or contact the Bountiful Cities Project at 828-257-4000.
