The Womyn's Community Garden is a magical space devoted to creating a feminine model of urban agriculture. Our world’s current agricultural systems are dominated by the male aspect of humanity; the environmental sustainability of these systems is now being questioned by ever-widening circles of people of both genders. The garden is a space within which we can experiment with the feminine, a safe place created by womyn, for womyn, but whose benefits will be shared by all life upon this green earth.

The Womyn's Garden is open to womyn of all ages and abilities, and their children. Children of both genders are encouraged to join in our adventure (males are considered children if they have not yet reached puberty).

Directions: From Broadway going south away from UNCA, take a left at North Street. At the stop sign which will be North and Forsyth St. take a left. This street is actually Forsyth and Dortch St. The house is on the right as the street before the street curves to the right. The house is the one that is built into the ground. If anyone is coming from Charlotte Street, take a left on Hillside. Continue on Hillside cross Merrimon you will come to a 5 way stop sign, continue forward on Hillside take a right at the first street. This is Forsyth, it is not well marked, continue on Forsyth, past North and look for 46 Dortch on the right before the curve. It is the house across from the trailhead for the UNCA woods. Parking is on the side of the street.
